Dr. Doreen Smith
Hello! I'm Dr. Doreen Smith, founder of The Future Impact Academy, a nurturing and innovative microschool located in Hampton, GA.
My passion for education began during my early years working at summer camps, where I found joy in connecting with children and designing creative learning experiences. Those moments sparked a lifelong commitment to helping young minds thrive.
After earning my degree, I returned to the elementary school I once attended—from kindergarten through fifth grade—to give back to the very community that shaped me. I spent ten years teaching in the public school system, gaining valuable experience and insight into what children truly need to succeed.
Becoming a mother deepened my desire to create something more—a learning environment that goes beyond traditional education. I envisioned a place where children feel safe, inspired, and truly seen. That vision led to the birth of The Future Impact Academy.
At our microschool, we embrace multisensory learning, hands-on STEAM activities, and a strong focus on social, emotional, and physical well-being. My goal is to cultivate curious, confident learners in a space where each child’s unique potential can flourish.
It brings me so much joy to partner with families who share this vision, and I’m excited to build a strong, supportive community together. I look forward to welcoming you to The Future Impact Academy!
